Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi visited the Army Service Corps Centre and College in Bengaluru on April 8, 2026, to review advancements in military logistics training and operational preparedness.
During the visit, the Army Chief was briefed on progressive training methodologies that are aligned with evolving military logistics requirements and driven by cutting-edge technological innovations.

Gen Dwivedi inspected state-of-the-art training infrastructure, including initiatives integrating emerging technologies such as drones, advanced logistics systems, blockchain, and immersive reality solutions in mechanical transport training.

The COAS appreciated the institution’s efforts in modernising logistics training and commended selected personnel for their excellence and dedication. He also lauded the ASC Centre & College for its sustained contribution in ensuring operational logistics readiness of the Indian Army.

The visit underscores the Army’s increasing focus on technology-enabled logistics and capacity building, which are critical for maintaining efficiency and readiness in modern warfare scenarios.
