Air Marshal S Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Training Command, inaugurated the Navigation Simulator (NAVSIM) at the Navigation Training School (NTS), Air Force Station Begumpet on April 16, 2026.

The indigenously developed NAVSIM features enhanced graphics and multi-scenario simulation capabilities, including complex emergency situations and night operations, significantly improving the quality of training.

With the induction of this simulator, the training of Navigators and Weapon System Operators (WSOs) has been further strengthened, enabling personnel to gain realistic operational experience in a controlled environment.
