Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani, Deputy Director General of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), paid a surprise visit to the ATC-1 Camp being conducted at Sphoorthy Engineering College, Nadirgul, making the occasion memorable for cadets of 1 (T) Air Squadron NCC.
Earlier in the day, the Air Commodore visited Nadirgul Airfield to observe the flying activities being undertaken by the cadets as part of their training programme.
On arrival at the camp site, the cadets accorded him a disciplined Guard of Honour, which he highly appreciated.
During the visit, Air Commodore Sailani held discussions with the Camp Commandant, Wing Commander Y V R Kumar, regarding camp administration, training activities, and infrastructure development.
He also interacted extensively with cadets, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), and staff members, creating an encouraging and motivational atmosphere within the camp.
Addressing the cadets, the DDG NCC advised them to remain focused in life, stay away from distractions, and strive to become responsible citizens and compassionate individuals dedicated to serving the nation with commitment and integrity.
The visit concluded successfully and served as a major source of inspiration and motivation for the cadets and camp authorities alike, reinforcing the NCC’s core values of discipline, leadership, and nation-building.
