Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan formally launched the Tri-Services Tele Directory Web Application, a digital initiative aimed at enhancing integration and communication across the Indian Armed Forces.
The application has been developed in-house by the Directorate General of Signals (DG Signals) as part of ongoing efforts to improve interoperability and joint functioning among the three Services.
According to officials, the initiative represents a significant milestone in strengthening coordination, improving operational efficiency, and fostering integrated functioning across the Indian Armed Forces.
The Tri-Services Tele Directory Web Application is envisioned as a secure and unified digital platform designed to facilitate streamlined communication and better connectivity among personnel and establishments of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force.
The launch reflects the continued emphasis on digital transformation, jointness, and technology-driven integration under the vision of theatreisation and modernisation of India’s defence forces.
