Vice Admiral Manish Chadha, AVSM, VSM, Commandant of the Indian Naval Academy (INA), presided over the Academy Dinner Night held at the Katari Cadets’ Mess, celebrating excellence, leadership, and camaraderie among officers and trainees.
The evening brought together officers and trainees in recognition of a successful and challenging training term, with cadets sharing experiences of rigorous military training while reflecting the spirit of teamwork, discipline, and aspiration for future leadership roles in the White Uniform.

During the event, Vice Admiral Chadha presented trophies to meritorious trainees of the Passing Out Courses as well as squadrons that excelled in various disciplines during the term.

Fighter Squadron emerged as the Champion Squadron of the Spring Term 2026 after delivering sustained high performance across training and competitive activities.
The event highlighted the emphasis placed by the Indian Navy on leadership development, professional excellence, and fostering esprit de corps among future naval officers.
