Lieutenant General Virendra Vats, YSM, SM, VSM, Director General of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), along with Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, Additional Director General of NCC Directorate Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh, called on Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, SC**, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding of the 14 Corps.
During the interaction, both sides acknowledged the strong cooperation and support extended by the Indian Army towards NCC battalions operating in the region.
Discussions focused on further enhancing NCC activities, improving training support, and strengthening infrastructure for cadet development across Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
Officials stated that the meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment towards empowering youth through leadership development, discipline, adventure activities, and nation-building initiatives under the NCC framework.
