The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, visited Headquarters Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) to review the prevailing security environment and assess the operational preparedness of troops engaged in counter-terrorism operations.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the current security situation, ongoing operational activities and measures undertaken to maintain a high state of readiness in the region. The review focused on strengthening operational effectiveness, enhancing vigilance and ensuring sustained pressure against terrorist networks.
Lt Gen Mishra assessed the force’s preparedness to respond to evolving security challenges and reviewed the operational framework supporting counter-terrorism efforts across the area of responsibility. Emphasis was placed on maintaining seamless coordination, intelligence-based operations and rapid response capabilities.

Interacting with officers and troops, the Corps Commander commended all ranks for their unwavering professionalism, dedication and relentless commitment in the conduct of counter-terrorism operations. He praised their efforts in maintaining a secure environment despite the demanding operational conditions.
The GOC also appreciated the high morale, vigilance and steadfast resolve displayed by the personnel, acknowledging their vital contribution towards preserving peace, stability and security in the region.
