The parade marked the successful completion of training for 231 Flight Cadets, comprising 194 men and 37 women. The graduating cadets were commissioned into different branches of the Indian Air Force after undergoing rigorous military and professional training.
The ceremony was reviewed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and was attended by senior officers, instructors, family members and distinguished guests.
The parade was especially significant because it also witnessed the commissioning of the first batch of women cadets from the National Defence Academy into the Indian Air Force, marking another historic development in the expanding role of women within the Armed Forces.
Topper of the Navigation Stream
