Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth visited the forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch, Rajouri and Sunderbani sectors to review the prevailing security situation and the operational preparedness of the White Knight Corps.

During the visit, the Army Chief was briefed on the evolving security environment, operational deployments, surveillance architecture, field innovations and the formation’s integrated operational readiness. He also reviewed the effectiveness of the counter-insurgency grid and assessed measures undertaken to strengthen operational capabilities along the LoC.
General Seth further evaluated the progress of infrastructure development in the forward areas and appreciated the White Knight Corps’ sustained efforts to empower communities in India’s first villages through people-centric initiatives aimed at improving connectivity, development and local engagement.

Interacting with troops, the Army Chief commended all ranks for their operational excellence, professionalism and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s borders. He exhorted them to remain mission-focused, operationally agile and continue striving for excellence while maintaining the highest standards of vigilance and combat readiness.
