Hisar Military Station has launched a large-scale plantation drive under Mission Falvan, or “Fruit for All”, with the planting of 5,000 saplings as part of its efforts to expand green cover and promote long-term environmental sustainability.
The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s continuing emphasis on environmental conservation alongside its operational responsibilities. Through the plantation drive, the military station aims to create a greener ecosystem while contributing to a healthier and more sustainable environment for future generations.
The campaign was also conducted in the spirit of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, an initiative that encourages people to plant trees as a tribute to motherhood and to Mother Earth. Each sapling planted during the drive symbolised both environmental responsibility and gratitude towards nature.
