Officers of the 39th Naval Higher Command Course (NHCC-39) visited Headquarters Western Command at Chandimandir and Kharga Corps as part of their professional military exposure, with the engagements focusing on jointness, integrated operations and the evolving character of warfare.
During the visit, the course participants were provided insights into the evolving operational environment along the Western Front, the conduct of Strike Corps operations and the integrated employment of multi-domain capabilities.
The engagements also highlighted the increasing role of technology-enabled warfighting and the importance of integrating capabilities across different domains to meet emerging operational challenges.
Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh, AVSM, SM**, Army Commander, Western Command, interacted with the NHCC-39 officers and shared his perspectives on changes shaping contemporary and future warfare.
Addressing the course participants, the Army Commander emphasised jointness, integration and interoperability among the Armed Forces. He urged future military leaders to develop a joint warfighting mindset while remaining adaptive, technologically empowered and operationally agile.
The professional exposure provided the Naval Higher Command Course officers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of land warfare formations and their integration with capabilities from other services and domains.
The visit reflected the Armed Forces’ continuing focus on strengthening jointness and integration, fostering professional military thought and preparing future military leaders for coordinated operations across multiple domains.
