The College of Defence Management (CDM) hosted students from the Kautilya School of Public Policy for an academic visit aimed at promoting interaction and exchange of perspectives between the fields of public policy and professional military education.
During the visit, the student delegation was briefed on the history and ethos of the College of Defence Management and its role in Professional Military Education within the Armed Forces.
The visitors were also given an overview of CDM’s Defence Management curriculum, including its focus on developing strategic leadership and management capabilities relevant to the Armed Forces.
The interaction provided an opportunity for students and faculty to exchange perspectives on public policy, defence management and professional military education.
Discussions highlighted the interconnected nature of strategic decision-making, leadership, management and public policy, particularly in addressing complex contemporary challenges.
