Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Eastern Naval Command, inaugurated the newly developed Community Hall ‘Jalsa’ at the Dolphin Hills Residential Area in Visakhapatnam.
The facility has been dedicated to Naval personnel and their families and is envisioned as a vibrant community space for social gatherings, celebrations and recreational activities.
As part of the inauguration, a musical concert, food festival and kids carnival were organised by INS Circars, bringing together Naval personnel and their families for an evening of entertainment and community interaction.
Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, accompanied by Mrs Priya Bhalla, interacted with Naval personnel and their families during the celebrations. The event provided an opportunity for members of the Naval community to come together in an informal and festive setting.
The newly inaugurated ‘Jalsa’ Community Hall is expected to serve as an important social hub at Dolphin Hills, providing Naval families with a dedicated space to connect, celebrate special occasions and participate in community activities.
The initiative reflects the Indian Navy’s continued emphasis on welfare infrastructure and strengthening the sense of community among serving personnel and their families.
