The Army War College, India, conducted a Spouse Guidance Capsule for the spouses of Student Officers, focusing on emotional well-being, effective relationships, legal awareness and financial security to help them navigate the challenges of military life with greater confidence.
The capsule featured expert-led sessions designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and guidance on issues relevant to personal well-being, family relationships and legal rights. The programme aimed to empower spouses with useful insights to support themselves and their families while managing the demands associated with military life.

Mrs Anupama Pradhan, NLP Practitioner and Life Coach, conducted a session on emotional well-being and effective relationships. Her session focused on aspects of personal well-being and interpersonal relationships, addressing themes intended to help participants approach everyday challenges with greater awareness and confidence.
The programme also featured a session by Advocate Raghvendra Raghuvanshi, a panelist from the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), who spoke on matrimonial rights, financial security and legal awareness. The session addressed important aspects of understanding legal rights and financial matters, providing participants with information relevant to their personal and family circumstances.

The inclusion of sessions on emotional well-being, relationships and legal awareness gave the capsule a broad focus on the issues faced by military families. By bringing together perspectives from life coaching and legal expertise, the programme sought to equip participants with practical insights across different aspects of family life.
For spouses of Student Officers, such guidance can help build awareness of personal well-being, relationship management and legal and financial considerations. The capsule was designed around these themes, with an emphasis on enabling participants to approach the challenges of military life with confidence.

The initiative highlighted the importance of empowering spouses and strengthening families as part of efforts to build a resilient Army community. Through expert guidance and practical learning, the Army War College’s Spouse Guidance Capsule focused on supporting the well-being of military families and helping participants develop a better understanding of the issues that may arise in their personal and family lives.
