Lt Gen RC Tiwari, Army Commander Eastern Command, undertook a comprehensive visit to the forward areas of Spear Corps to review the operational preparedness along the Northern Borders. During the visit, he was briefed extensively on the current operational posture, internal security dynamics and the ongoing integrated training exercise being conducted jointly with the Indian Air Force and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police. The exercise demonstrated enhanced synergy among the services, showcasing coordinated airโground responses, improved surveillance capabilities and technologically enabled border management in high-altitude terrain.
Interacting with field commanders and troops, Lt Gen Tiwari commended all ranks of Spear Corps for their exceptional professionalism, dedication and technical prowess. He appreciated their sustained operational excellence and unwavering commitment in safeguarding the nationโs frontiers under challenging climatic and geographical conditions. The Army Commander emphasised the importance of continued vigilance, enhanced joint training and the effective absorption of emerging technologies to counter evolving threats along the Northern Borders.

As part of his engagement in Arunachal Pradesh, Lt Gen RC Tiwari also launched a new YouTube channel titled โSiyom Talesโ, an initiative dedicated to celebrating the culture, traditions and patriotic spirit of the people of the state. The channel aims to strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and local communities by highlighting stories that reflect societal values, local heritage and the shared commitment to national unity.

The visit reaffirmed the Eastern Commandโs resolve to maintain a high level of readiness and to remain fully prepared to meet any contingency, while also reinforcing its commitment to fostering harmony and trust with the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
