Middle-level officers of the tri-services undergoing the Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC), accompanied by faculty members, visited Vajra Corps for an immersive understanding of the planning and execution of integrated operations along the Western Front. The visit offered the future military leaders a first-hand perspective on how large formations prepare for, coordinate and conduct operations across diverse and complex terrain in a dynamic security environment.

The officers were briefed on Vajra Corpsโ operational philosophy, joint operating procedures and the integration of emerging technologies that enhance real-time decision-making, surveillance and combat readiness. They also gained valuable insights into the Corpsโ continuous efforts to optimise training, logistics and force structures to remain agile and responsive to evolving battlefield requirements.

Maj Gen Atul Bhadauria, VSM, Chief of Staff, Vajra Corps, addressed the delegation and underscored the critical need for rapid technological absorption, operational adaptability and innovation to stay ahead of future challenges. He highlighted that the modern battlefield demands swift, integrated and effect-based responsesโanchored in jointness, technological proficiency and professional excellence.
