Three officers undergoing the prestigious Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC-21) visited Tezpur as part of their forward area tour, where they received an in-depth briefing on the operational and logistics framework of Gajraj Corps. The visit aimed to enhance the officersโ understanding of corps-level functioning in a high-threat, high-altitude operational environment.

During their interaction, senior staff officers of Gajraj Corps explained the nuances of operational preparedness, sustainment challenges and the integrated logistics mechanisms that enable seamless functioning across the Eastern theatre. The officers were exposed to the Corpsโ approach to capability development, employment philosophy and evolving requirements in the context of the dynamic security situation.

The delegation was addressed by Lt Gen Gambhir Singh, GOC, Gajraj Corps, who provided a comprehensive overview of the prevailing operational security scenario and highlighted the emerging future contours shaping Indiaโs eastern borders.
