The Passing Out Parade for Agniveers of the Indian Armyโs Corps of Signals was held today at the 2 Signal Training Centre in Goa. The ceremony was reviewed by Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, the Honourable Governor of Goa.
During the event, the newly trained Agniveers were formally commissioned into service as technologically proficient soldiers specialising in information warfare and communications. The Corps of Signals emphasised its commitment to preparing these young recruits โ described as โInfo Warriorsโ โ to meet modern battlefield requirements with advanced skills, discipline, and dedication to national service.
In his address, the Honourable Governor commended the Agniveers for their achievement and acknowledged the critical role played by their families, recognising them as essential pillars of support that enable soldiers to uphold the traditions of the Indian Army.

The parade underscores the ongoing implementation of the Agnipath scheme, aimed at recruiting and training youth for short-term service while building a future-ready force.
The event featured formal group photographs of the reviewing officer, senior military personnel, and the passing-out Agniveers against the backdrop of the training centreโs ceremonial arch.

This successful parade marks another milestone in strengthening the Indian Armyโs signals and communication capabilities through the integration of young, skilled personnel.
