The training of the National Defence Academyโs 149th Course culminated in a landmark Passing Out Parade held on the morning of 30 November 2025 at the iconic Khetarpal Parade Ground. In a splendid display of immaculate drill and military bearing, the cadets marched past the Quarterdeck with exceptional precision, evoking deep pride and admiration among all attendees. The grand event drew an enthusiastic gathering of proud parents, distinguished dignitaries, school children, civilians, and serving as well as retired personnel from the Armed Forces, all united to witness one of the Academyโs most cherished traditions.
Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, PVSM, AVSM, NM, Chief of the Naval Staff, reviewed the Passing Out Parade for the Autumn Term 2025. Maj Avinash Pandey, SM, Adjutant, astride his charger โReliant Robinโ, conducted the parade with ceremonial splendour. Academy Cadet Captain Siddharth Singh of Oscar Squadron, impeccably dressed in Blue Patrol, commanded the parade with poise and confidence befitting the occasion.

A total of 1,250 cadets marched on parade, including 329 cadets of the passing-out course. Marching shoulder to shoulder, the cadets crossed the Antim Pag to the timeless tune of Auld Lang Syne, symbolising the conclusion of their training journey at NDA. These graduating cadets will now proceed to their respective pre-commission training academies and services, carrying forward the Academyโs ethos of honour, courage and commitment. Their commissioning journey marks a transformative chapter in the NDAโs legacy of excellence, inclusivity, and unwavering dedication to nation-building.

During the ceremony, the Reviewing Officer awarded the Presidentโs Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals to the top performers of the course. The Presidentโs Gold Medal was presented to ACA Deepak Kandpal, the Silver Medal to ACC Siddharth Singh, and the Bronze Medal to DCC Siddhi Jain for their outstanding performance in the overall order of merit.

The ceremonial flypast by Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft marked a spectacular conclusion to the parade, echoing the spirit of valour and aspiration that defines the National Defence Academy and its cadets.
