The Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, visited the Fire and Fury Corps to review the prevailing security situation and assess the Corpsโ operational readiness in the region.

During the visit, the COAS was briefed on key initiatives undertaken to bolster national security, enhance preparedness levels and support ongoing nation-building efforts in the strategically critical sector.
General Dwivedi lauded the Corps for their unwavering dedication, resilience and exemplary operational standards in challenging terrain and extreme climatic conditions. He highlighted the vital role played by the formation in safeguarding Indiaโs borders with professionalism and courage.

The COAS also felicitated personnel of the Indian Army and the Ladakh Police, recognising their exceptional service and significant contributions to maintaining peace, stability and security in the region.
