Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited the Fire and Fury Corps to review ongoing operational and infrastructure development projects in the Ladakh sector.
During the visit, he was briefed on crucial developmental initiatives aimed at enhancing connectivity, strengthening logistics, and improving overall preparedness in the strategically vital region.
Lt Gen Sharma felicitated personnel of the Indian Army and the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for their significant contributions to nation-building through the successful completion of key projects in forward areas. These efforts, he noted, reflect exemplary jointness and synergy between civil and military agencies working in some of the world’s most challenging terrain.
The Army Commander appreciated the dedication and professionalism of all ranks and encouraged continued collaboration to further bolster operational capabilities in the high-altitude sector.
