Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, conducted a comprehensive review of the security architecture and operational preparedness of Army formations deployed in South Kashmir.

During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma was briefed on the joint intelligence framework in place, refined operating procedures, and strengthened coordination mechanisms among security forces. The focus of the briefing was on ensuring swift, integrated, and effective responses to emerging security challenges in the region.

The Army Commander emphasised the importance of synergy, real-time intelligence sharing, and adaptability in maintaining a high state of operational readiness in South Kashmirโs complex and dynamic security environment.

Lt Gen Sharma commended the troops for their exemplary professionalism, firm resolve, and unwavering commitment to duty. He lauded their sustained efforts towards achieving operational excellence and safeguarding peace and stability in the region.
