Praveen Kumar, Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), visited the North Bengal Frontier to review operational preparedness and overall force readiness.
During the visit, the DG was briefed on border management challenges, operational posture, and ongoing security measures by Mukesh Tyagi, Inspector General, North Bengal Frontier, along with other senior officers. The review covered deployment readiness, surveillance mechanisms, and coordination to ensure effective border guarding.
The Director General interacted with personnel and emphasised maintaining high standards of vigilance, professionalism, and operational efficiency. The visit underscored the BSF’s continued focus on strengthening preparedness and ensuring robust security along the frontier.
