Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, AVSM, NM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C) of the Southern Naval Command, visited INS Valsura from December 23 to 25, 2025.

During the visit, the Flag Officer carried out a detailed inspection of the training and administrative infrastructure and reviewed the ongoing training activities at the establishment. INS Valsura, a premier electrical and technical training institution of the Indian Navy, plays a crucial role in developing skilled manpower for naval operations.

Vice Admiral Saxena interacted with the shipโs company and trainees, appreciating their dedication and professionalism. He commended INS Valsura for consistently maintaining high standards of training excellence and adapting its curriculum to meet evolving technological and operational requirements of the Navy.

The FOC-in-C also conveyed his best wishes to all personnel, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in their duties. The visit reaffirmed the Southern Naval Commandโs focus on robust training, infrastructure development, and human resource excellence, ensuring the Indian Navy remains future-ready and technologically proficient.
