Officer Cadets from the Officers Training Academy, Gaya visited the Junior Leaders Academy (JLA), Bareilly, on December 27, 2025, as part of their professional exposure and leadership development programme.

The visit provided the Cadet Officers an opportunity to gain valuable insights into JLAโs role as a premier training institution responsible for shaping the Junior Leaders of the Armed Forces. During the visit, the cadets were familiarised with the instructional methodologies, training philosophy, and leadership development frameworks employed at the academy to foster operational excellence and battlefield leadership.

The cadets also interacted with Brigadier Gaurav Kapoor, Commandant, JLA, who emphasised the pivotal role played by Junior Leaders in influencing unit cohesion, decision-making, and combat effectiveness in modern and future battlefields. He highlighted how adaptable, well-trained junior leadership forms the backbone of success in complex and dynamic operational environments.

The visit reinforced the Indian Armyโs emphasis on holistic officer training, ensuring that future officers gain a comprehensive understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and leadership dynamics across various levels of command within the Armed Forces.
