Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC CIF (Delta), visited the general area of Kishtwar in Jammu & Kashmir to review the Counter-Terrorism Grid and assess the operational preparedness of units deployed in the hinterland.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the prevailing security situation, ongoing counter-terrorism measures and initiatives undertaken to further strengthen the security architecture. Emphasis was laid on enhancing inter-agency coordination and maintaining a robust, responsive security framework to pre-empt emerging threats.

Interacting with commanders and troops at various levels, Lt Gen Mishra reviewed ground-level preparedness and operational effectiveness in challenging terrain. He commended the troops of CIF Delta for their vigilance, professionalism and proactive posture in safeguarding peace and stability in the region.
The visit reaffirmed the White Knight Corps’ focus on sustained vigilance, high readiness and seamless synergy among security agencies, underscoring the resolve to remain ahead of threats and ensure security across the hinterland.
