At Kausani Military Station, Major General I S Gill, VSM, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Uttar Bharat, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the Golden Fish Signallers, the Indian Army’s specialists in secure military communications.

During the review, emphasis was placed on survivability drills, system redundancy and rapid restoration of communication networks under hostile and degraded battlefield conditions. The evaluation highlighted the formation’s ability to maintain uninterrupted command and control links even in high-threat operational environments.

Maj Gen Gill commended the signallers for their high degree of technical competence, resilience and professionalism, noting that reliable communications remain a decisive enabler of mission success in modern warfare. He underscored that effective signal support is fundamental to synchronising operations and ensuring swift decision-making across the battlefield.

The Golden Fish Signallers once again demonstrated that while combat formations advance, it is secure and dependable communications that ensure victory is achieved and sustained.
