Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited the Sunderbani Sector following the successful culmination of Operation Jwala, which effectively foiled an infiltration bid and led to the recovery of war-like stores along the Line of Control.
During the visit, the Army Commander reviewed the ground situation and was briefed on the conduct of the operation, intelligence inputs and operational measures that ensured its swift and decisive success.
He commended the troops for their timely response, precise execution and high levels of coordination in neutralising the threat.
Lt Gen Sharma lauded all ranks for their professionalism, commitment and steadfast resolve in maintaining robust security along the border. He reiterated the Indian Army’s unwavering determination to ensure a terror-free Jammu and Kashmir and exhorted the troops to continue maintaining relentless vigilance and operational readiness.
