Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), held a cordial and substantive interaction with Rear Admiral Jeanette Morang, Special Envoy of the Chief of Defence of the Netherlands, to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed ongoing initiatives aimed at expanding the India–Netherlands defence partnership and explored new avenues of collaboration.
Discussions focused particularly on cooperation in high-end niche defence technologies, enhancement of Professional Military Education (PME), and strengthening strategic perspectives for ensuring a safe and secure Indo-Pacific region.
The interaction highlighted the growing importance of defence collaboration between India and the Netherlands, especially in areas such as technological innovation, knowledge exchange and capacity building.
Both leaders appreciated the progress achieved in bilateral defence engagement and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen strategic ties and expand cooperation across multiple domains.
The meeting reflects the shared intent of both countries to strengthen defence diplomacy, promote stability in the Indo-Pacific and advance mutual security interests through closer military collaboration.
