Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Western Air Command, visited a strategic frontier air base in the Northern Sector to review its operational readiness and infrastructure.
He was received with a ceremonial Guard of Honour, following which he conducted a comprehensive review of the base’s operational preparedness, infrastructure and mission capabilities.

Commendations for Operation Sindoor Support
During the visit, the Air Marshal conferred AOC-in-C Commendations upon personnel from the civil police and the Border Security Force (BSF) in recognition of their exceptional support to the air base during Operation Sindoor.

Visit to Headquarters 15 Corps
Air Marshal Mishra also visited Headquarters 15 Corps, where he was briefed on ongoing joint operations conducted in close coordination between the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force.
