The closing address of the Officers’ Advance Course in Computer Technology (OACT–36) was conducted at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, marking the successful culmination of the specialised training programme.
The ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney, Commandant, MCEME and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, who commended the officers for their dedication, technical proficiency, and professional excellence.
Participation and Course Significance
A total of 13 officers, including five from Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs), completed the course. The Commandant emphasized the growing importance of advanced computing, cyber security, and digital technologies in modern warfare.
