In a significant milestone, six Caretaker Officers (CTOs) of the 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC were promoted as Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) during a pipping ceremony held on April 20.
Promotions Announced
- Dr Seema Kumari was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant
- Rhythm Bhardwaj, Sharuti Sharma, Arju Sharma, Sarita Mathur, and Bhanu Priya were promoted to the rank of Second Officer (S/O)

Pipping Ceremony Conducted
The ceremony was conducted under the aegis of the Commanding Officer of the battalion, who formally adorned the newly promoted officers with their ranks in the presence of proud family members.

Addressing the officers, the Commanding Officer highlighted that the new rank brings greater responsibility and leadership expectations, urging them to:
- Uphold the core values of the National Cadet Corps
