Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena attended the closing ceremony of Operation Netra 1.0, a mega eye-care initiative organised by the Fire and Fury Corps in collaboration with Army Hospital (R&R), the Health Department and SNM Hospital, Leh.
Record High-Altitude Medical Achievement
The initiative achieved a significant milestone with:
- Over 200 cataract surgeries successfully performed
- Camps conducted across remote regions including Tangtse, Nyoma, Chushul, Nubra and Kargil
- A record for eye surgeries at the highest altitude in India

Healthcare Outreach in Remote Regions
Operation Netra 1.0 aimed to:
- Provide specialised healthcare services in difficult terrains
