Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, conducted a final review of preparations for the upcoming North Tech Symposium 2026, scheduled to be held from May 4 to May 6.
During the review, the Army Commander interacted with key stakeholders and assessed the readiness of various components of the event. He examined logistical arrangements, technological showcases, and coordination mechanisms to ensure the smooth conduct of the symposium.
The North Tech Symposium 2026, a major defence-technology event, will be inaugurated by the Raksha Mantri in Prayagraj. The event is based on the theme “Raksha Triveni Sangam,” symbolising the convergence of innovation, collaboration, and operational capability.
The symposium is expected to bring together senior military leadership, defence experts, industry stakeholders, and technology innovators to deliberate on emerging trends in defence technology and their application in modern warfare.
Lt Gen Sharma emphasised the importance of seamless execution and highlighted the role of such platforms in fostering innovation and strengthening the Indian Army’s technological edge in an evolving security environment.
