Lieutenant General VMB Krishnan, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, visited Panagarh Military Station from May 1 to May 2, 2026, to review the security situation, infrastructure development, and operational preparedness of the formations deployed in the region.

During the visit, the Army Commander assessed key aspects of operational readiness and examined ongoing infrastructure development initiatives aimed at enhancing combat capability and logistical efficiency. He was briefed on the prevailing security scenario and the measures in place to address emerging challenges.
