Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), visited the Early Intervention Centre at INHS Asvini to review specialised healthcare services and patient support facilities.

The Flag Officer was accompanied by Surgeon Vice Admiral KM Adhikari, Command Medical Officer of the Western Naval Command, and Surgeon Rear Admiral Manish Honwad, Commanding Officer of the hospital.

During the visit, the DGAFMS reviewed the functioning of the Early Intervention Centre and interacted with medical personnel involved in providing specialised healthcare and rehabilitative support services.

The visit highlighted the continued focus of the Armed Forces Medical Services on strengthening advanced healthcare infrastructure and ensuring quality medical care for service personnel, veterans, and their families.
