Major General Bimal Monga, SM, VSM, Additional Director General of the NCC Directorate Gujarat, visited 1 Gujarat NCC Battalion and interacted with officers, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), Permanent Instructor (PI) staff, and cadets.
During the visit, the General Officer appreciated the unit and civil staff for their exemplary work, dedication, and commitment towards maintaining high standards of NCC training and administration.
Interacting with the cadets, Maj Gen Monga encouraged them to embrace emerging technologies, develop leadership qualities, and imbibe the core ethos and values of the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
He urged the cadets to prepare themselves as responsible future leaders capable of contributing meaningfully towards nation-building and societal development.
The visit highlighted the NCC’s continued focus on youth empowerment, leadership development, discipline, and technological awareness among cadets.
