Indian Army, CRPF and Manipur Police Evacuate Injured Civilian from Remote Kangpokpi Village

Red Shield Division personnel brave adverse weather and difficult terrain to ensure timely medical treatment.

In a remarkable display of humanitarian assistance and inter-agency coordination, the Red Shield Division of the Indian Army, operating under the Spear Corps, successfully evacuated a seriously injured civilian from a remote village in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district.

The evacuation operation was carried out in close coordination with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Manipur Police to ensure the injured individual received urgent medical attention.

Despite adverse weather conditions and challenging terrain, troops navigated difficult routes to reach the remote location and safely evacuate the civilian. Their swift response and determination enabled the injured person to receive timely life-saving treatment.
