Lieutenant General VMB Krishnan, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Eastern Command, visited Panagarh Military Station to review the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness of the Brahmastra Corps.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the operational environment, combat readiness and preparedness measures being undertaken by the Corps to address emerging security challenges. He reviewed the formation’s capabilities and assessed initiatives aimed at maintaining a high state of operational readiness.
Lt Gen Krishnan emphasised the need to develop soldiers into capable multi-domain warriors equipped with the skills, adaptability and expertise required to operate effectively in the evolving battlefield environment. He highlighted the importance of preparing troops to meet future challenges across multiple domains of warfare.

The Eastern Army Commander also underscored the significance of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and maintain battlefield superiority. He encouraged the adoption of innovative solutions and modern technologies to strengthen combat capabilities and support mission success.
