His grandfather, the late Subedar (Retired) Chandeshwar Chaudhary, served with distinction in the Army Medical Corps, tending to the health and well-being of soldiers. His father, Subedar Sanjeev Kumar (also referred to as Sanjeev Chaudhary), continues to serve in the Corps of Signals, ensuring seamless communication on the battlefield and beyond. His mother, Smt. Poonam Chaudhary, has been the quiet pillar of strength holding the family together through years of postings and separations.
Today, Lieutenant Saurav Chaudhary carries forward this illustrious legacy — not in the Medical Corps or Signals, but in the Corps of Engineers, where he will contribute to construction, infrastructure, and combat engineering capabilities of the Indian Army.
