The Indian Air Force has honoured Squadron Leader Onkar Singh (Retd) on the occasion of his 100th birthday, celebrating a remarkable life of service, dedication and inspiration. The centenary celebrations were held at the Base Repair Depot in Chandigarh in the presence of Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, along with senior serving officers and veteran Air Warriors.
The occasion brought together members of the Indian Air Force fraternity to salute the centenarian officer and recognise his enduring association with the service.
Squadron Leader Onkar Singh stands as a living embodiment of the Indian Air Force ethos of Mission, Integrity and Excellence. His century-long journey reflects the values of commitment, discipline and devotion that continue to inspire generations of Air Warriors.
Marking the milestone, the Indian Air Force described his life as “a century of service” and “a lifetime of inspiration.”
The celebration served as a fitting tribute to a respected veteran whose life and service remain a source of pride for the Indian Air Force.
