General Dhiraj Seth Reviews Operational Preparedness at Trishakti Corps and Trinity Area

Army Chief highlights the importance of jointness, technological integration and military-civil synergy in addressing evolving security challenges.

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Dhiraj Seth visited the Headquarters of Trishakti Corps and Trinity Area to review the prevailing security situation and assess the operational preparedness of the formations. The visit underscored the Indian Army’s continued emphasis on maintaining combat readiness, integrating emerging technologies and strengthening inter-agency cooperation to effectively address the dynamic security environment in strategically important operational areas.

During the visit, General Dhiraj Seth was briefed on the operational deployments of the formations, evolving security dynamics and ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness through the adoption of advanced technologies. Senior military officials apprised the Army Chief of the measures being undertaken to strengthen surveillance capabilities, improve logistical support systems and optimise operational responses to emerging challenges.

Particular emphasis was placed on technology absorption initiatives that are contributing significantly to sharpening operational capabilities across multiple domains. The Indian Army has increasingly focused on integrating advanced technological solutions into its operational framework, including enhanced situational awareness systems, communication networks, logistics management tools and force multiplication capabilities. These efforts are central to the Army’s broader modernisation objectives and its preparedness for future warfare.

The Army Chief also reviewed initiatives designed to strengthen logistical capabilities, recognising the critical role of robust and responsive logistics systems in sustaining military operations across diverse terrains and operational environments. Efficient logistical support remains indispensable to ensuring mission success and maintaining a high state of operational readiness, particularly in strategically sensitive regions.

Interacting with personnel of the Indian Army and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), General Dhiraj Seth commended their unwavering dedication, professionalism and commitment to duty. He appreciated the exemplary standards of operational preparedness maintained by all ranks and acknowledged their contribution towards safeguarding national security under demanding operational conditions.

The COAS lauded the seamless synergy demonstrated among the various security forces deployed in the region. He highlighted that contemporary security challenges increasingly require coordinated responses involving multiple stakeholders, making interoperability and institutional cooperation critical components of operational success. The close coordination between the Indian Army, CAPFs and civil authorities has significantly strengthened the nation’s ability to address both conventional and emerging threats effectively.

Emphasising the importance of jointness in modern military operations, General Dhiraj Seth noted that integrated planning, shared operational objectives and seamless coordination among security agencies remain essential for addressing the complexities of today’s security environment. He observed that future operational scenarios will increasingly demand collaborative approaches that combine technological capabilities, professional expertise and institutional resilience.

The Army Chief also underscored the growing significance of military-civil fusion in enhancing national security and operational effectiveness. He highlighted that meaningful engagement and cooperation between military institutions, civil administration and other stakeholders contribute substantially to improving crisis response mechanisms, strengthening resilience and facilitating sustainable developmental outcomes in strategically important regions.

General Dhiraj Seth encouraged all ranks to continue embracing innovation and maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence while remaining adaptable to evolving operational requirements. He reiterated that vigilance, technological proficiency and continuous capability enhancement will remain central to preserving operational superiority in an increasingly complex strategic landscape.
