The upcoming recruitment rallies are being planned by the respective Army Recruiting Offices across several key locations in Uttar Pradesh, including Meerut, Bareilly, Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra and Ayodhya. These rallies are expected to provide eligible youth from the state with an opportunity to compete for selection into the Indian Army under the Agniveer recruitment framework.

During the conference, the General Officer outlined various areas where support from the state and district administrations would be essential. Coordination relating to venues, civic arrangements, infrastructure, security, transportation and other logistical requirements was discussed to facilitate the smooth conduct of the recruitment process.

The conference also underlined the importance of maintaining a well-organised environment for candidates appearing in the recruitment rallies. Effective coordination between civil authorities and Army Recruiting Offices will be crucial in ensuring that the selection process remains orderly and accessible to eligible aspirants.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary assured the Army of the state administration’s continued support and cooperation for the recruitment programme. He emphasised the importance of the initiative in providing opportunities to the youth and supporting the selection of capable candidates for service in the Armed Forces.

The upcoming rallies represent an important stage in identifying and selecting young men and women who aspire to serve the nation in uniform. The Army and civil administration are working together to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted effectively and that candidates receive the necessary support throughout the process.

The coordinated efforts of the Army, state government and district administrations are expected to strengthen preparations for the Agniveer recruitment drive and contribute to the successful selection of the country’s future soldiers and defenders.
