Headquarters 9 Sector Assam Rifles celebrated its 80th Raising Day at Keithelmanbi Garrison in Imphal West, Manipur, on 1 September 2026, commemorating eight decades of dedicated service, valour and commitment to national security.
The occasion marked eight decades since the formation of the headquarters, which traces its origins to its raising at Tuensang in Nagaland in 1947.
