CISF personnel across the country have been promoted to higher ranks, marking an important milestone in their careers and recognising years of dedicated service, discipline and commitment to the nation.
As part of the promotions, Constables (General Duty) have been elevated to the rank of Head Constable (General Duty), while Head Constables (General Duty) have been promoted to Assistant Sub-Inspector (Executive).
Across various CISF formations in the country, personnel proudly donned the insignia of their new ranks as they took on greater responsibilities within the force.
The promotions recognise the professional commitment and sustained service of CISF personnel entrusted with securing some of India’s most critical infrastructure and establishments. With every elevation in rank comes increased responsibility, leadership duties and a renewed commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service.

The Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force congratulated all the promoted personnel and their families on the occasion and wished them continued success in their careers.

The CISF said the new ranks represent not only professional advancement but also greater responsibility and a stronger resolve to serve the nation with honour and dedication.
