Lt Gen Madanraj Pandey, General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps, visited the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre and reviewed training initiatives for Agniveers along with key regimental developments.
During the visit, the Corps Commander reviewed the training infrastructure and assessed measures aimed at preparing personnel for contemporary operational requirements.
Lt Gen Pandey also witnessed a demonstration at the Chinese Language Lab, which showcased language training designed to enhance operationally relevant skills among personnel.
As part of efforts to strengthen technology-enabled training, the GOC inaugurated a Drone Training Node at the Regimental Centre. The facility is expected to enhance exposure to drone technology and its applications in the modern operational environment.
The Corps Commander also interacted with the gallant “Nunoos” of the Ladakh Scouts over tea. He commended the personnel for their professionalism, dedication and commitment to duty.
The visit highlighted the focus on combining traditional soldiering skills with emerging technologies and specialised training to enhance the operational capabilities of the Ladakh Scouts.
