The Army Commander also reiterated the need for real-time intelligence sharing among stakeholders. Timely dissemination and integration of actionable intelligence, he noted, are essential for enabling security forces to anticipate threats, improve situational awareness and undertake coordinated responses.

The meeting further underlined the importance of integrated coordination and joint operational preparedness. Effective information exchange and close cooperation among agencies can facilitate faster decision-making, improve response times and enhance the effectiveness of joint operations.

The emphasis on rapid response mechanisms comes against the backdrop of the need for security agencies to remain prepared for dynamic and evolving security challenges. Greater interoperability and coordinated planning can help ensure that available resources and capabilities are employed efficiently during security contingencies.

Lt Gen Pratik Sharma called upon all stakeholders to maintain a high degree of vigilance and continue strengthening existing coordination mechanisms. He underscored that sustained cooperation, timely intelligence sharing and operational synergy would remain key elements in maintaining security and ensuring effective responses to emerging threats.

The Security Review and Coordination Meeting thus reinforced the Northern Command’s focus on maintaining operational preparedness through close inter-agency cooperation, integrated planning and real-time information exchange.
