Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command, visited Bhopal Military Station and reviewed the operational readiness, technology infusion and administrative initiatives of Sudarshan Chakra Corps.
During the visit, the Army Commander also visited Headquarters PMP Sub Area, where he reviewed the Drone Ecosystem developed in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal. The initiative reflects the focus on integrating technological capabilities into the Army’s operational framework.

The review provided an overview of the drone ecosystem developed through collaboration between the military establishment and IISER Bhopal. The engagement highlighted the role of institutional collaboration in advancing technology-related initiatives and supporting capability enhancement within the formation.
At Headquarters PMP Sub Area, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar also reviewed initiatives aimed at advancing military-civil integration with the State Administration. These efforts form part of the broader range of administrative and coordination initiatives assessed during his visit.
