This historic induction follows closely on the heels of another significant milestone earlier this month. Located at the world’s highest battlefield, her posting came after successfully completing induction training at the Siachen Battle School.

The Siachen Glacier, situated near the Indo-Pak Line of Control, holds the distinction of being the highest-altitude battle site in the world. Not only is it the largest glacier in India, but it also ranks as the second-largest globally. Known for its extreme conditions, the Siachen Glacier represents the pinnacle of battleground challenges, making these achievements by Captain Wasim and Captain Koul all the more significant.
