Jodhpur, April 5, 2025 – Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, conducted a significant visit to the Konark Corps, also known as the Desert Corps, to assess its operational preparedness and logistical readiness for desert warfare. The visit, which took place at the Corps’ headquarters in Jodhpur, underscored the Indian Army’s focus on maintaining excellence in one of its most strategically vital sectors.
During his visit, Lt Gen Seth engaged with senior commanders to review evolving war-fighting concepts tailored specifically for desert operations.
